Hello Beauties and Happy Makeup Monday to Ya!

Last week, I was blessed enough to attend the NYC IMATS (International Makeup Artists Trade Show). This is my second year attending and the lure for me primarily is to find the diamonds In the rough, or unknown just blooming indie brands.  Yes the discount is a factor, but once you take into account the $50.00 entrance fee you need to be prepared to spend some substantial CA$H in order to come out with a discount.
This year my haulage included bdellium tools smoky eye brush set in yellow bamboo.  This set included 5 brushes #781B crease, 777B shadow, 769B angled contour, 760B liner/brow, and 716 smoky eyeliner. These brushes are all Eco friendly professional brushes with synthetic bristles; compact handles that are great for travel. This line also has a line of brushes with antibacterial qualities for my fellow germaphobes.

Now what a trip to IMATS without lashes, a sad one! Unfortunately the Velour lash booth was all sold out! Last year I managed to snatch a pair of the 100% mink & handmade lashes in you complete me. I wore those bad girls out! Love is a complete understatement they look so natural and beautiful on they are totally worth the price tag but are definitely reserved as my special occasion lash. They can be used about 20 times with proper care and deserved an honorable mention.  You must check out their website you won't be sorry.

I did manage to snag six pairs of Liberty Republic - Fake It lashes. These glamizons were created by Jordan Liberty, pro makeup artist and founder of Give Good Face. These are not being released to the public for a while.  Keep checking for more info.  My picks were Femme Fatale, Innuendo, Truth or Dare, Pillow Talk and Prima Donna.
Also with summer approaching I decided to pick up Melanie Mills Gleam in rosé gold. This is a body radiance cream with light diffusers that makes limbs look flawless, think bronzed goddess.  It comes in four forgiving shades that complement all skin tones. Check out and get glowing!

I had so mucb fun I had to break up my IMATS post into two. Tune in next week for the rest of my haul......
