I love my blog but I treat it like my mistress. I show it love every once in a while, then I
abandon it for my wife aka my day job. I
give her excuse after excuse and promise to be better, only to fall back into
the same habit of inconsistency. Enough
is enough and the timing couldn't be more perfect. During her weekly Twitter chat for writers
author Aliya S. King presented us with a challenge. Write a blog post every day for 30 Days!! I
hesitantly accepted, and then I grew more excited because I believe the old
adage about practice making perfect.
What better practice than committing to my craft every day for 30
days?! No longer just my side piece, my
blog will finally be made an honest woman.
