FROCKSTARS: The 2012 BET Awards

You never know what to expect when it comes to the BET awards, and I think that's what makes it so much fun to watch.  Whether it's a censor with a slow finger or an artist with a quick tongue, the unexpected is to be expected.  But let's talk fashion, I expected more from some people and hoped for less from others.  And as I am a glass half full kinda girl, I'm going to focus on a few of my favorites:

Beyonce in Stephane Roland:

If the BET awards had a homecoming queen it would be Beyonce.  This dress screams high fashion and that right leg split brought the drama. The color, the belt, and the hair were just perfect. I just wished we could've have seen how it looked without her holding up the other side.
Monique Brown in Alexander McQueen:

This was Monica's performance dress and you just can't go wrong with McQueen. The print gives the dress rock star edge perfect for awards shows.

Lala Anthony in Lois London:

Lala's jumpsuit was perfect for the night.  The sequins were fun and just dressy enough for the night and above all else she looked comfortable!! Werk it Lala
Selita Ebanks in Falguni and Shane:
This playful and futuristic frock was a favorite of mine for its sheer bottom and colorful statement pieces.
