I'm kicking myself in the fashionable ass for missing "The Little Black Jacket" exhibition. The exhibit features the fashion staple photographed and styled by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld (Uncle Karl if you're nasty) in collaboration with Carine Roitfeld. The jacket (120 were created for the project) is rocked by icons of music, fashion, and film in a number of ways. Who knew "The Little Black Jacket" could be a hat, a bandeau top, a skirt, or even a nun’s habit? Thankfully the exhibit will be released in book form this fall and you better believe I'll be making up for missing out. Check out the website dedicated to the traveling exhibition to see when it hits your hood and preorder your copy of the book here.
