Seated at Sally Lapointe I expected an edgier spring showing, wild metallics and sharp shoulders maybe, but was pleasantly surprised with a softer collection. The first few looks were head to toe black goth inspired, but as the show went on the looks got progressively more feminine. Lapointe's theme for the collection was "haunted romanticism" and the multi layered sheer looks were beautiful and sexy. The strong shoulder that has become her trademark was still there, but toned down in a more wearable form for those of us that aren't Lady Gaga. I loved it and I can't wait to see more from Lapointe who's only getting better.
