Whether it's in New York, London, Milan, or Paris, Fashion Week is BIG!
Everyone is clamoring to see what's hot for next season.  Some of it leaves you gasping for air it's so fierce, and others just leave you gasping.  This season there seemed to be a trend towards looks with volume.  Whether it was big bold taffeta skirts at Oscar De La Renta, or petit pops of peplum at Sally Lapointe, it was clear that bigger is better for spring as our hips now have room to bloom.

So what's with these less body conscious looks?  Maybe it's in correlation with a shift in catering to real world women, who crave movement and comfort in their daily lives.  Flats, brogues, and slippers have never been more popular, showing up on the runways of Lanvin and Victoria Beckham.

Why wait for spring to try out this trend?  Pair a skirt with swing with your favorite fitted sweater in a pop of color.  Then add some fierce flats in a funky print.
Remember it's go big or go home!
