ShowMeYou'reFresh: Burberry Prorsum Fall 2011 RTW

Ask me about the clothes at Burberry Prorsum and I couldn't identify one piece, but ask me about those fabulous coats and I can tell you everything.  Christopher Bailey is killing the outerwear game right now using studs, spikes, and fur as statement makers.  Open your favorite glossy and I'm sure that coat or jacket that puts a pause in your throat is by Burberry.
Model Jean Shrimpton was Bailey's inspiration for fall and it showed in sleek 60's style coats in bright colors and prints.  The bags were boxy, some even reminded me of colorful bowling bags.  The use of "cow print" on newsboys and coats made me happy inside as I was instantly reminded of the late nineties when cow print pieces were popular.  Rocked hard by your favorite female rappers of the time and making a comeback on the Burberry runway.
There was color, there was fur, there were prints, a recipe for a strong consumer friendly fall collection.
