Evolving Influence at Milk Studios 2/10/11

My feet hurt, I'm sleeping less, I've got no time to eat...and I love it? It must be fashion week in New York! I've once again kicked my season off with The International Fashion Bloggers Evolving Influence conference. It's a great event with a wealth of information for bloggers and every season it gets bigger and better.
This season the topics included protecting your content (one of my favorite panels hosted by the awesome Mr. Newton and harem pants defender Leandra Medine of Man Repeller), Blogging as a business, Working with brands gracefully, and The rise of the professional blogger.  The panels offer so much knowledge, for seasoned bloggers and blog newbies.
One of the most important things mentioned for every blogger to remember is to stay true to your own voice! I started my blog because I love fashion and I love to write, lucky for me people like to read it! :)
Another reason I love IFBCon is because I get to connect with so many awesome blogger friends who are working the fierce!  I didn't get a chance to see the guys from Proenza Schouler speak because I had to get to the tents (insert sad face) , but once again it was a very informative conference.  Shouts to Christina from LoveBrownSugar and Mecca Nuri of NuriStyle who were great company.  And a big thank you to Jennine Tam of The Coveted, founder of IFB for hosting another great event.
